Guilin China

This is our first Club Med experience and first visit to Guilin. We are impressed by staff professionalism, dining experience and Club Med culture. Will come back or explore other Club Med in future.

I visited Club Med Guilin in May 2025 with 2 other friends. The view of the karst mountains and being surrounded by the many sculptures was really quite stunning. The rooms although a little on the older side, were well maintained and functioned well. It is a very big compound but there is a buggy that comes around every 5-7 minutes. Otherwise, it's actually quite lovely to just walk from one compound to another. There are some interesting activities here like Paddleboard Yoga and activities that are targeted for older folks like Ba Duan Jin, tea appreciation etc. Great for families who have their grandpas and grandmas. Great selection of food and mostly taste delicious. Service from the general staff is polite, respectful and attentive. But what makes the stay truly memorable was the dedication and customer focused G.Os.Special shout out to Dylan who went beyond his call of duty to take care of my sick friend. Sammi, for hosting us at the wine cellar with a masterclass in wine appreciation. Debra - my very first GO in Club Med Bali - so happy to see you here in Guilin and congrats to your promotion. Appy - for your wonderful stage presence and vivaciousness. And lastly a big shout out to the chef de village - Lim - for his leadership and commitment towards service excellence. I had a very memorable experience. Thank you so much!

I was so impressed with the spacious and spotless room, as well as the excellent food. What truly stood out was the incredible staff. Their constant smiles and warm greetings made me feel so welcome, and their performances were fantastic. A big thank you to the MALAYSIA Chef de Village Lim (the best CDV I met in clubmed ) and the amazing team: Go Appy, Mia, Lai, Bekki, Sanmi, Raymond, Malilu, Victor and one choreographer from France(I forget the name ,sry).

Many online reviews about the room not being good, but really not that bad! Standard room that’s clean and nice. All the GO are amazing. They do have more paying options than other club meds I’ve been to. Very family friendly. Pool is beautiful.

This is not our 1st stay in Club Med. And like always we were not disappointed. Club Med Guilin was excellent. We came during Easter holidays, the wether was perfect for outside activities. The resort was very green with blooming flowers. The resort is huge and well maintained. There is space for everyone and it doesn't feel crowded even when the resort is at full capacity. My kids love doing Trapeze at Club Med. In CM Guilin the circus team is very professional and caring about kids. We want to say thank you to Marilou, Jacky, Tony, Cline and Ryan for teaching our kids acrobatic tricks and skills. Our kids were very sad when it was time to leave CB, they wanted to stay longer and now keep asking when we go again. We also would like to say thank you to people on the reception especially to Dylan, Carol and Logan for being very helpful and attentive to our requests. All people at the reception try to do their best to make sure that guests feel comfortable and happy. My son would like to say a special big thank you to GO - Victor. This is an amazing guy, naturally very joyful and pleasant person with funny jokes and natural ability to engage kids into activities. My son enjoyed that football tournament organised by GOs so much. We are also very thankful to Yang for organising extra activities for our family and to Phoebe . And a special big thank you to the Head of the village Mr. Lim and to Circle. These are very genuine people who always there for guests and every day speak to guests and pay attention to all requests and demands of everyone making people's stay at CM Guilin unforgettable and happy. We want to come back for sure.
