Bahamas

Cayman Islands
This financial haven also offers a pristine beach, a low crime rate, and modern roads so you can explore on your own. If your teens are into scuba diving then there over 300 dive sites for them to enjoy. At Stingray City, they can swim with a friendly group of these graceful fish. If they don’t fancy getting wet then they can dive to up to 100 feet with a submarine tour – it’s amazing what you can see through the windows. Teens may fancy a few hours at Black Pearl Skate, one of the largest of its kind in the world, with half-pipes and bowls to cater for every ability on your Caribbean family holiday.
Saint Lucia
This stunning island has plenty to do away from the beach. The chocolate is world-renowned and you can learn how to make it (and, of course, eat it) at several family-friendly chocolate laboratories. You also need to visit the famous Soufriere Volcano where the family can take a fun dip in the warm mud baths. The older kids will love the open-air dune buggy tour around the island where they can see the sites while enjoying the thrill of speed in the outdoors.
Barbados
The small but perfectly formed island with British roots is tremendous for Caribbean family holidays. For some pirate adventure, treat the family to a lunchtime cruise on the Jolly Roger in Bridgetown where you can say ‘ho ho ho’ amongst sails, rope swings and planks. At the Barbados Wildlife Reserve, there’s a huge range of exotic wildlife to be spotted including the unique green monkeys. Harrison’s Cave is both eerie and dramatic and the kids will enjoy it all the more on the back of a guided tram.
