Columbus Isle Bahamas

So great that I am reluctant to share it with others! Stunningly beautiful beach, friendly, playful atmosphere. Wonderful staff. Interesting guests. It only takes about a minute after arriving to relax and forget your normal life.

Spent a week at Club Med Bahamas from Feb 24 to Mar 3rd. It truly is paradise. The beach and sea are spectacular ! If you enjoy hanging out relaxing at the beach all day reading a book and swimming in the beautiful warm sea there is no better place. The resort has a lot of activities throughout the day - scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, kayaking, tennis, bocce ball, jet skiing, bike rentals - there is no way you could ever be bored ! And if you just want to relax and do nothing except lay on a lounger under an umbrella on the beach you can do that every day and you won't get enough of it.
Rooms are big and clean (Thank you Latoya) and the views of the sea from your bed looking out the glass sliding door are like from a postcard.
Food is excellent - you will always find something you like at the buffet and La Pinta is a beautiful restaurant with nice views, ambience and provides more of a fine dining experience. The fresh squeezed orange juice at La Pinta is the best I've ever had !
The staff at Club Med are friendly and they all do their best to serve the guests.
The only critique is the sand fleas - be careful - you can't see them and they really like humans especially after sunset. Bring bug spray - and if you do - make sure you actually use it and spray yourself.
We will 100% be back next year !

We have just returned from our 7th visit! It's beautiful, calm with very pleasant people and a terrific beach. The food has improved and the rooms quite adequate for a seaside stay. Lots of activities including tennis, snorkeling and sailing. Sunset drinks are memorable.

Breathtaking beach! Good selection of food at the buffet even for picky eater kids.
Special mention to Narumi and Marvin, we loved the fitness classes. No kids club but my kids had a blast with Kyle by the pool.
Thank you to the tennis team (Andrea, Charles and Dylan) and the sailing team (Behruz, Sasha and Loic).

You can book a photoshoot with Luca via the app or his office is near the reception. He's amazing!
